混沌初开，人妖并存于世，彼此相安无事。千百年后，幽离族族主暴魅发动战争，要将人类驱逐。奇人异士历经艰辛，将其驱逐至地底深处，并用乾元仙阵镇压。新族主暴貔组织族人世代破阵，仙阵终有破损，幽离族乘机重返人间。平幽司前掌政引导半人半幽离的易水寒集齐五行尊者，重整平幽司。人皮案后，皇帝也下令重启平幽司查明真相。 调查期间，易水寒偶遇陆晶灵和蓝靛衣，一个为幽离平反，一个要剿灭幽离，两人一路打闹，让易水寒焦头烂额，好在最后发现二人就是水火尊者。易水寒不仅通过查案找齐了五行尊者，还与忘我医庐的狄青云结成了忘年交。 最后，平幽司一行人查明了一切都是李公公的阴谋，他勾结幽离，激化两族矛盾，企图谋权篡位。虽然平幽司查清真相，揭穿了狄青云，但狡猾的李公公却消灭罪证，继续逍遥法外……
